Brawhalla is now available for both iOS and Android

It has launched with cross-play too

It was announced three weeks ago that the mobile version of Brawhalla would finally be making its way over to mobile. Now, after several periods of beta testing the game is available for both iOS and Android.

The popular fighting game initially launched for PC and PS4 way back in 2017. One year later it was then released for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch before finally making its way over to mobile today. It’s worth pointing out the other platforms the game is available on, not just for the history lesson, but because it will support cross-platform play.

If you’re unfamiliar with the game, it’s a brawler where up to 8 players will battle it out in a variety of different game modes in search of glorious victory. Some of the game variants you can choose from include Brawlball, Bombsketball, Free for All, Capture the Flag, and Kung-Foot. There’s also a training mode for you to practice your combos and timing.

At present, the game boasts a roster of 50 different characters, which is set to grow in the future as developer Blue Mammoth Games continue to update Brawlhalla. Some of those characters are original creations made for the game whilst a few guests have been added over time including the likes of Rayman, Ben 10 and folks from Adventure Time.

In terms of controls, Brawlhalla looks to have an extensive suite of options to choose from. You can play using the touch screen where you’ll be able to customise the layout of the virtual buttons to suit your needs. Additionally, there is apparently support for both keyboard and controller if you’d prefer.
